It has long been recognised that when assessing design and composition, readable text can be a nuisance. Lorem Ipsum is used because it provides a more-or-less standard layout, and a realistic distribution of letters and spacing within paragraphs that would not be produced by simply duplicating "Your text here.. Your text here.. Your text here.." Many desktop publishing packages and HTML editors use Lorem Ipsum as their default text, so a search for "lorem ipsum" will reveal many web pages still awaiting their real birth. There have been many versions of Lorem Ipsum over the years. Some versions have been introduced by mistake, and some are intentional (injecting humour into text).
